As we are getting more information about the Coronavirus, it appears that self-isolation and quarantine may not be the best approach to this virus. In Sweden, they relied more on a calibrated precaution approach and didn’t self-isolate. What appears to have happened in Sweden was by not self-isolating, they exposed more people to the virus strain, and their population may have already started the process of developing herd immunity. A new study on antibodies is also showing that the rate of infection was much higher than initially suspected. The research suggests that the Coronavirus was spreading long before the quarantines even begun.
