Curated Alternative News Sources (Updated November 2022)

I could go on about how bad the mainstream news media is, but; you already know that. If you are reading this, then chances are you’re searching for alternative information because the message you’re getting from corporate media doesn’t make sense. We get it, and it’s one of the main reasons we started VLM.

However, as Mitch Kapor once said, “getting information off the internet is like taking a drink from a fire hydrant.” Because so much information can be overwhelming, we created a curated platform offering credible alternative news and media sources that are not beholden to corporate masters and their scripted narratives. The corporate media-sponsored fact-checkers will call these sites “fake news,” but it’s quite the opposite.

As more people are learning, the corporate-owned media are the true purveyors of fake news & conspiracy theories. They are the pro-authoritarian, pro-establishments public relations division for the current control structure. The truth is, news sites that are pro-liberty or critical of the government and discuss topics not aligned with the corporate talking points are attacked for being “fake.”

These attacks are the establishment’s attempt to discredit the media that are exposing the inconsistencies in their narrative. This tactic is not working anymore, and people are starting to see them for who they truly are. Here is a list of the more popular alternative news sites that fly under the radar of most people.
