A record amount of entrepreneurs are popping up around the United States. The variety of demographics and characteristics of these successful entrepreneurs are staggering. More than 16% of entrepreneurs were first generation immigrants and 7 out of 10 are women. Many of these business owners operate at home and offer some form of business service, sell directly to consumer and spread their business beyond national borders, operating in a global environment. Many of these small business create jobs and introduce innovative products into an every changing marketplace.
